Our trek takes you to the beautiful and remote area of Tusheti , tucked away in the north-east of Georgia with the snow-capped Caucasus Mountains separating it from Chechnya and Dagestan. We will travel to ecologically sound, still unexplored by travelers’ villages and gorges. We will observe the tribal life of Tusheti , semi-pagan rituals and impressive festivals, towers & shrines perched on bare cliffs, caves cut into rocks with giddy staircases and local hunters armed with time-forgotten hunting rifles. The life of the people in Georgian mountains and their old history is an adventure itself.
We invite you to visit some of the most beautiful parts of the Caucasus Mountains: magnificent views of Mount Kazbek, pure spring waters in Truso gorge, breathtaking horse race in Tusheti and fascinating landscapes will be seen in Khevi Province. Warm encounters with local inhabitants, traditional Georgian meals, Georgian history and legends await you on your journey through the mountains. This program is a good combination of culture and trekking.
